Free six-day introductory football coaching courses for teenagers are being delivered near Milnthorpe during upcoming school holidays.
The Westmorland County Football Association are running a free youth coaching project for teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17 years at the Dallam School Sports Centre in Milnthorpe during the February and Easter school breaks.
The course is designed as an introduction to football coaching and will involve classroom and practical sessions.
Attending the course does not provide any sort of football coaching qualification, but all participants will receive a certificate.
The course will be spread over different days as below for different age groups.
Ages 14-15 years:
Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 February
Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 April
Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 April
Ages 16-17 years
Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February
Thursday 4 April and Friday 5 April
Wednesday 10 April and Thursday 11 April
All courses will run from 10.30am until 3pm.
