Every kick, every game, every goal - Shrimps Live is back!

Beyond Radio is once again partnering with Morecambe Football Club ahead of the Shrimps’ new season in Sky Bet League Two, for full match commentary of every game.

Morecambe fans will be able to listen to exclusive, uninterrupted radio commentary of every single game in both league and cup, home and away, which will be broadcast simultaneously across North Lancashire and Morecambe Bay on 103.5FM, 107.5FM, DAB+ digital radio, as well as available to listen to or watch on the iFollow Shrimps platform, beginning with the trip to Walsall on Saturday, August 10.

Hosting Shrimps Live once again is experienced broadcaster, Dave Salmon. Dave has more than 25-years-experience in the media industry, and is no stranger to the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, reporting on the Shrimps for the former Bay Radio, before returning as lead commentator ahead of the coverage following the Club’s promotion to League One in 2021.

Shrimps Live will welcoming a number of special guests during the season, and in addition to full match commentary, also returning is the ‘Shrimps Verdict’ podcast, featuring online, on demand content, including audio match highlights, post-match interviews and reaction, opposition previews, and the chance for supporters to have their say.

Speaking ahead of the new season, Dave Salmon said: ‘’I am tremendously excited and honoured to be invited back for a fourth season of commentary.

‘’Beyond Radio has established itself as an integral part of the local community in recent years and this is reflected in the station’s ongoing significant investment in the coverage, which has gone from strength to strength.

‘’We plan to make the coverage as interactive as possible for supporters, both on air and online, to deliver a service that both the club and supporters can be proud of.’’

Shrimps’ Head of Media & Communications, Matt Smith, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Dave and Beyond Radio back for another season.

“It’s vitally important for Morecambe FC supporters to have access to full match commentary and keep up to date with what's happening on the pitch, week in week out, whether that’s through iFollow or Beyond Radio.

“Ever since the launch back in 2021, our partnership as well as the commentary has gone from strength to strength, and we look forward to seeing it grow once again for the upcoming campaign.”

Fans who live outside Beyond Radio’s transmission area can purchase a monthly audio pass for £4.50, or a season long pass for £45.

Overseas subscribers can purchase a season long video pass for £180, or £10 per individual game (or local currency equivalent).
