Morecambe’s League Two fixture against Crawley Town has been postponed due to international call ups.
The fixture was due to take place on Saturday, October 14 at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, and will now be rearranged.
The EFL Trophy home match against Barrow on Tuesday October 10 will proceed as normal with a 7.00pm kick off.
It had already been confirmed that Morecambe striker Michael Mellon had received an international call up for Scotland U21 squad for their upcoming UEFA Euro Qualifiers at home to Hungary and Malta, on October 13 and 17 respectively.
The 19-year-old, on a season long loan at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium from Burnley, has been called up for the second time, on the back of his excellent start to the season, where he has so far scored six goals in all competitions.
Morecambe’s game away at Barrow was postponed last month after the Shrimps received five call-ups to various international squads at under 20, under 21 and senior level.
This included Eli King and JJ McKiernan for Wales and Northern Ireland U21s respectively, and Jacob Bedeau for Grenada.
