Morecambe remain without a win after they conceded a late equaliser to draw for the fourth consecutive game in League Two.
Morecambe were handed a dream start inside the opening five minutes.
Good work down the right involving Luke Hendrie and Ben Tollitt saw Paul Lewis pull the ball back, only for Bradford defender Cheick Diabate put through his own net from close range.
Paul Lewis then glanced a header just wide, before Sam Walker saved an effort from his own player after a Markus Dackers cross, before Ben Tollitt fired the rebound narrowly over the angle.
Five minutes later, it was nearly a second own goal as Sam Walker
There were more chances for the Shrimps before half time too.
Firstly, Paul Lewis timed his run perfectly and found himself through on goal, but his strike was cleared off the line.
Then, Marcus Dackers dinked the ball over a defender before he fired a powerful strike on goal which was well kept out by Walker.
At the other end, the Bantams had a chance to equalise on 38 minutes. Jay Benn found himself clear, but his chip over the advancing Stuart Moore went wide of the far post.
Chances came the way of the Shrimps in the second half too.
Adam Lewis found space on the edge of the box, with his low strike was blocked, Paul Lewis bundled the ball narrowly wide at the near post, and Callum Jones had Walker at full stretch with a 25 yard effort.
With 20 minutes of normal time remaining, Dackers played a terrific ball through to Tollitt who cut inside and unleashed a powerful strike on goal, with Walker again equal to it with a fine save.
But it wasn’t to be for the Shrimps as Bradford found an equaliser with two minutes left.
Following a sustained spell of possession from the visitors, Morecambe couldn’t clear a free kick, and a left wing cross by Tyriek Wright was headed home by Jack Shepherd.
