Lancaster City need you ahead of Volunteer Day

This weekend will see Lancaster City FC’s annual Volunteer Day as they prepare the Giant Axe for the start of the 2023/24 season.

Starting at 9am on Saturday (June 24), the club are asking for volunteers to come down to the ground and help out in whichever way they can.

Tasks will include cleaning, weeding, painting, fence repair and more.

The more volunteers, the better match day experience the club can provide to all fans throughout the new season.

Anyone can come down and help out on the day.

The club are also asking for businesses to get in touch if they would like to put their name forward as the club’s “player of the match” sponsor,

The chosen business will have their name mentioned on the club’s social media pages every month and on every “player of the match” trophy, while also having the chance to present the trophy to the awarded player every month.

Club season tickets are still on sale, while Under 12s can join the “Junior Dolly Blues Club” and will receive a season ticket, a club activity book, the chance to meet the players and play on the Giant Axe pitch and much more.

The club also have a lifetime season ticket on offer, which would allow you to attend every single Lancaster City home league game for the rest of your life.
