Huge queues of fans have lined up to meet Morecambe TV couple Noel and Sue Radford at a signing event in Manchester for their new book.

A video clip on the Radford Family Instagram account showed a line of more than 100 people stretching around the Arndale Centre in Manchester.

They were waiting to get into the book signing at the Waterstone's branch on Saturday, to meet the heads of Britain's biggest family and stars of Channel 5 TV show '22 Kids and Counting'.

Noel and Sue were there to sign copies of their first book 'The Radfords: Making Life' Count which went on sale on February 29.

The book is described as "the biggest family story in Britain" and "a collection of uplifting and personal stories about navigating family life, filled with moments of tears and laughter".

Noel and Sue's 22 children are Chris, Sophie, Chloe, Jack, Daniel, Luke, Millie, Katie, James, Ellie, Aimee, Josh, Max, Tillie, Oscar, Casper, Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Bonnie, Heidie and their brother, Alfie, who was tragically stillborn.

The Radfords live in a converted care home in Morecambe, run their own business Radfords Pie Shop in Heysham and have built a massive online following through the success of their Radford Family YouTube channel.

A post on The Radford Family Facebook page said: "WOW what a surreal day.

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to the book signing today.

"It was so lovely meeting you all.

"Thank you so much for all the incredible love and support and all the beautiful gifts you brought for us and the children."

On theradfordfamily Instagram page they posted: "Just totally blown away by how many of you came to the book signing today. WOW what a turnout. Forever grateful for all the incredible love and support. Sorry we didn’t bring pies with us."

The Radfords will hold another book signing at Waterstone's in Birmingham on Saturday May 16 at 2pm.

A limited amount of signed copies of the book will be available in the Radfords' shop in Heysham.
