Morecambe TV couple the Radfords to release autobiography about 'the biggest family story in Britain'

The Radfords will release their first book in February

A couple from Morecambe who star in a TV show with their super-sized family are set to release their first book.

Noel and Sue Radford, from the Channel 5 TV show '22 Kids and Counting', will release 'The Radfords: Making Life Count' in February.

The book is described as "the biggest family story in Britain" and "a collection of uplifting and personal stories about navigating family life, filled with moments of tears and laughter".

Noel and Sue are the heads of Britain’s biggest family, with 22 children including Chris, Sophie, Chloe, Jack, Daniel, Luke, Millie, Katie, James, Ellie, Aimee, Josh, Max, Tillie, Oscar, Casper, Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Bonnie, Heidie and their brother, Alfie, who was tragically stillborn.

They live in a converted care home in Morecambe, run their own business Radfords Pie Shop in Heysham, and have built a massive online following through the success of their Radford Family YouTube channel.

Noel and Sue announced news of the book on their social media pages, following the debut episode of the new series of '22 Kids and Counting' on Channel 5 on Sunday.

"We feel so lucky to be kicking off the year with our fourth series and as well as the show we have something very exciting launching in 2024," they said.

"We are thrilled to announce you can now pre-order our first book and it will be available to buy in stores from 29th Feb 2024!

"So many of you have asked over the years if we'll ever bring out a book and it's something we've wanted to do for a long time and now finally we've found time amongst the chaos of daily life to do it!

"It's been such a lovely experience, reflecting on our journey to becoming Britain's biggest family from first meeting to every pregnancy, birth and beyond.

"We love sharing our lives with you and we hope you'll enjoy the book and all our stories old and new.

"As ever, thank you for all your support and kindness. From our family to yours, Happy New Year! Let's make 2024 really count."

Promotional information ahead of the book's release says: "TV stars Noel and Sue beat all the odds to stay together and become Britain’s biggest family with 22 children.

"Meeting as youngsters, Sue first fell pregnant at a young age and the teenage lovebirds, both adopted as babies, were determined to bring up their first baby and build a family together. Their love story continued to blossom – and their children kept on coming! The couple confess to having had an addiction with a difference – a positive addiction motivated by love. They were addicted to having children.

"They are as much in love today as they were as teenage sweethearts, while their larger-than-life story continues to see new chapters unfold. Making Life Count is a collection of uplifting and personal stories about navigating family life, filled with moments of tears and laughter."

The book is out on February 29 and is available to pre-order from Amazon.
