A three-year-old girl who was born 10 weeks early has taken on a huge challenge by climbing 40 mountains to help other premature babies.
Lottie Tyson climbed 40 fells across the UK over the course of a few months, covering 170km and 31,000 feet in ascent.
Brave Lottie, who was just 3lbs 1oz when she was born, took on the challenge to raise money for the Bay Hospitals Charity.
The charity supports the Royal Lancaster Infirmary neo natal unit that looked after her when she was born at 30 weeks.
So far Lottie has raised £545 after taking on the 'Forty fells b4 four' challenge, helped by her dad Matthew.
She tackled the Wainwrights fells in the Lake District including Scafell Pike, Blencathra and Highstreet, many of them while out camping in the mountains, which she loves.
Lottie's fundraising page says: "My daddy says I was born very early at the hospital and I was very tiny.
"There were lots of nice people there to look after me so now I'm big and strong I want to give something back that is amazing.
"Camping is my favourite and walking the big mountains. I love it. I've climbed a few already and it was the biggest one.
"My daddy thinks I could do 20 before I am four but I want to do 40!
"Poor daddy will have to do them too because he carries my sweets."
Matthew said: "We used to go on fairly long walks from a very early age and Lottie never seems to tire.
"It started with a walk up to Styhead Tarn from Wasdale (in the Lakes) a few months back which I thought was a big walk. From there she asked to go to the top of the mountain so we did. At the top she asked to do all of them!"

Earlier this year, little Lottie was also a singing superstar when she joined her mum Chelsea on stage to duet with her during the finals of a nationwide talent contest.
