Police appeal after Morecambe knifepoint robbery

Police are investigating a knifepoint robbery on a street in Morecambe.

Lancaster CID are investigating a report of a robbery which occurred at the junction of West End Road and Clarendon Road, Morecambe at around 11:40pm on Wednesday (August 9).

A lone female was walking home and entered the small car park near the junction where there is an alleyway through to Chatworth Road, when she has been approached by two males.

The victim has been pushed down while a knife has been held to her neck. The suspects have taken £20 in cash and a mobile phone.

The suspects are described as one wearing a black balaclava, around 5ft, black jacket with black joggers. The other is described as around 6ft tall, wearing a balaclava, black jacket and black joggers.

The female victim was uninjured in this incident, and officers are very keen to identify the suspects involved.
