A memorial service will be held to mark the 20th anniversary of the Morecambe Bay cockling tragedy.
The service to remember the 23 Chinese cockle pickers who lost their lives will be held on Monday February 5 in Morecambe - 20 years to the day since the tragic events in the Bay.
The service will begin at 3pm at the Cockle Pickers Memorial near the main Morecambe RNLI lifeboat station.
Members of the emergency services will attend including staff both past and present, some of whom were involved in the rescue efforts.
The victims, from China, were drowned after being trapped by incoming tides while pickling cockles off the shore at Bolton-le-Sands.
Morecambe music charity, More Music, will also hold events that weekend to commemorate the anniversary.
