Britain's biggest family from Morecambe hunt for new dream home

Sue and Noel Radford, stars of TV's '22 Kids and Counting'

Britain’s biggest family from Morecambe need your help to find their new dream home!

Parents Noel and Sue Radford, stars of the Channel 5 TV show ’22 Kids and Counting’, said they want to move out of their family home in central Morecambe but are struggling to find anywhere suitable for their massive brood.

So they have asked for help to find a plot of land, either in or close to the Morecambe and Lancaster area, where they can build a brand new house.

The Radfords revealed their plans during a Q&A on their YouTube channel, which has 326,000 subscribers.

“We are trying our best to find a plot so we can build our own house,” said Noel.

“We want somewhere with an acre of land. We also want plenty of area where the kids can get out and play, and for animals.

“We can’t find anything. If anyone knows somewhere within half an hour area of Morecambe/Lancaster, let us know!”

Sue said: “It’s very exciting.

“We’ve had so many messages and questions, are you moving? The answer is yes. 100%, this year we’re going to make that happen.

“But it’s so hard to find land that’s available in the right location where we want it.

“We want it to be super private and out in the middle of nowhere.

“We are also looking at buying somewhere else, that’s not off the cards completely, but the places we’ve found are not what we want. We need quite a lot of bedrooms.”

Noel and Sue are mum and dad to Chris, Sophie, Chloe, Jack, Daniel, Luke, Millie, Katie, James, Ellie, Aimee, Josh, Max, Tillie, Oscar, Casper, Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Bonnie and Heidie. Their 17th baby, Alfie, was born sleeping in 2014.

The Radfords live in a 10-bedroom former care home, which is the backdrop for their hit fly-on-the-wall Channel 5 documentary '22 Kids and Counting'.

During their YouTube Q&A, Noel and Sue also praised their current neighbours, saying they are “lovely”.

“We always say to them if they ever hear us being a bit noisy, let us know,” said Noel.

“Every one of them says, we never hear a thing!”

The Radfords also revealed they are planning to expand the family pie business, which they run from Faraday’s bakery on Heysham Road.

“It’s getting busier and busier, so we are thinking we are going to definitely have to employ more people, and upgrade a lot of things,” said Sue.

They also said they had no holidays booked this year, due to “work commitments” but were hoping for a family break in Florida in October.
