Specialist e-bike shop opens in Lancaster city centre

The new e-radicals shop in Lancaster

A specialist electric bike shop has opened in Lancaster city centre.

E-Radicals offers a range of e-bikes, which are growing in popularity as an alternative to motorcycles, cars and mopeds.

The shop at 15 King Street, at the entrance to Sir Simon's Arcade, is an exclusive retailer of Riese & Müller bikes and sells cargo, family, adventure, and classic town and city bikes.

There were more than 280 million e-bikes on the world's roads in 2022 and the shop's Facebook page says: "Electric bikes and mopeds are not just a trend, they're reshaping the future of transportation and cutting oil demand on a scale that electric cars can only dream of."

E-Radicals opened before Christmas and will reopen for the new year on January 4.

The shop is run by Jack Lenox, who is also a city councillor for the Green party, representing Bulk ward in Lancaster.
