A Galgate brewing company is celebrating its first year in business by being listed in every single bar of one of the UK's biggest pub chains.
Lune Brew Co's beer will be part of the BrewDog 'Up and Coming Breweries' event this month, meaning their beer will be available in all 72 of BrewDog's bars nationwide.
BrewDog is a multinational brewery and pub chain, and one of the biggest beer brands in Britain, so this is a milestone achievement for the new Galgate company.
Lune Brew Co was founded by Elliot Horner and Elliott Collett, who met at a beer festival and hit it off, mainly over their name similarities!
Elliot set up his first beer business, Cannabrew, from his bedroom five years ago, then decided to open Lune Brew Co because he wanted a base to produce his own craft ale.
The new brewery was opened inside the UK's oldest silk mill in Galgate and last autumn, they opened a new 'Tap Room' inside for customers to enjoy their beer.
To celebrate participation in the BrewDog event, Lune Brew Co has produced new products called Herd of Sleeping Elephants, Walking Down the Beaches Looking at the Peaches, and Lune Lager.
"We are beyond thrilled to be part of BrewDog’s ‘Up and Coming Breweries’ event," said Elliot Horner.
"To be featured in all 72 BrewDog bars across the UK before we’ve even turned one is a dream come true. This event is the perfect stage to let people all across the UK to sink a few of our pints. We have an incredible team here at Lune Brew Co and it’s great for all of us to see the hard work paying off.”
BrewDog’s ‘Up and Coming Breweries’ event is a celebration of the newest and most innovative breweries in the craft beer scene.
Beyond Radio visited Lune Brew Co in October 2023 to find out more about it.
