Lancaster will writing company signs deal for major expansion

A Lancaster-based will writing firm has announced a major expansion.

Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates has acquired Kendal Wills Limited and Lancaster Wills following the retirement of Paul Rodman from Kendal Wills Limited.

The purchase was finalised on January 31 and the company now plans to move into larger offices later this year and further increase the size of the team.

To ensure a smooth handover for the clients of Kendal Wills and Lancaster Wills, Morecambe Bay Wills is organising Meet the Team events, enabling clients to meet the estate planners and ask questions in an informal setting.

Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates Ltd, a local independent company based in Lancaster, was formed in March 2019.

The brainchild of Nicola Combe, who retrained to set up the firm, Morecambe Bay Wills provides services including wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and executor services.

The firm has been recognised nationally at the British Wills and Probate Awards as Will Writing Firm of the Year and Customer Service Champions. Nicola has also bagged the prestigious One to Watch and Sole Practitioner of the Year awards.
