INTERVIEWS: Beyond Radio broadcasts live from North Lancs Expo

Beyond Radio's Nathan Hill, Sam Cragg, Mateo Sanderson and Greg Lambert at the North Lancs Expo

Beyond Radio presented a three-hour live broadcast from the North Lancs Expo event held at Lancaster and Morecambe College.

The North Lancs Expo is an annual showcase of some of the best local businesses in North Lancashire and was held on Friday inside a marquee in the grounds of the college.

Beyond Radio's Greg Lambert hosted the weekly 'Beyond the Headlines' show direct from the Expo between noon and 3pm, with support from Beyond Radio's Nathan Hill, Sam Cragg, Mateo Sanderson and Karen Davey.

Greg chatted live on-air to many representatives of local businesses and organisations who attended the Expo.

We were also delighted to welcome a special guest in Jamie Quarry, Commonwealth Games decathlon medallist, and now a teacher at Ripley St Thomas Church of England Academy in Lancaster.

Jamie (pictured below with Greg) dropped in with some of the pupils from the school, one of several local schools to attend the Expo.

Earlier, there was an official opening of the Expo.

David Morris, MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale, and Councillor Caroline Jackson, leader of Lancaster City Council, were among those who attended the Expo.

The North Lancs Expo is run by Lancaster and District Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Lancaster City Council and Lancaster and Morecambe College.
