Beyond Radio is delighted to once again be hosting the main stage at this year's Carnforth Carnival this weekend.
The Beyond Radio team - including Beyond Bear - will be at the town's summer celebration alongside a fabulous line-up of entertainment on Sunday (July 7) and we hope to see you there as well!
This year the carnival will take place solely on Carnforth High School field, from midday, and features live music, food and drink, as well as a fairground, falconry and dance displays, kids races, face painting and many other attractions.
There will be live music on the main stage courtesy of Tom Woods and Ian Beattie as Freddie Mercury, while the ever popular Tug of War also makes a return.
Allday's Farm will have a variety of animals for you look at from a miniature horse, pygmy goats to a corn snake and chinchillas, while Sands Arts and Crafts will be providing sensory activities suitable for all ages and abilities.
Programmes are on sale now from Angles for Hair or SPAR Carnforth, priced at £2. Each programme admits one adult onto the field and contains £9 of discount vouchers. Admission will also be available on the gate on the day at a cost of £3 per adult.
Under 16s go free.

Carnforth Carnival is run by a team of organisers. The event returned in 2022, following a break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, after originally being revived back in 2015, following a 20 year absence.
Carnforth Carnival was first held in 1963 at Carnforth Cricket Club, and through the 1970s and 80s, had a string of famous faces leading a parade of marching bands and floats through the streets.
