Beyond Radio is delighted to announce that Mark Prada has been appointed as our new commercial director.
Mark has taken over the sales and advertising role from our long-standing commercial director and Beyond Radio founder member Nathan Hill, who has stepped down to work on other radio projects.
Mark created the popular Local Choice magazine in 2004, which is now celebrating its 20th year, and will continue to run Local Choice alongside his role at Beyond Radio.
He is well-known around North Lancashire and Morecambe Bay as a true champion of the area.
Mark was born in Morecambe and his family were renowned hoteliers in the town, running the Strathmore Hotel among other venues.
He is also the chairman of the Bay Tourism Association having joined the organisation more than 35 years ago, championing the tourism businesses of the area in a voluntary role.
Mark says his proudest achievement are his children Dominic and Theo.
He is also proud to support St John's Hospice, and is a keen fan of sport, whose favourite sporting moments include watching Morecambe FC gain promotion to League 1 and meeting David Beckham and the England team
