Adam Mayor scored direct from a corner to earn the Shrimps a good point on the road at Adams Park in League One.
The Chairboys took the lead on 20 minutes, as a cross from the right flank was headed home past Connor Ripley by Chris Forino from six yards.
The hosts thought they’d doubled their lead 12 minutes later, as Sam Vokes headed home another cross deep in the box, but the referee ruled it out for a push on a defender.
Morecambe then could have equalised just after the half hour mark, as a well-worked corner saw Anthony O’Connor’s cannon off the post from close range, and from the resulting scramble, the ball fell to Caleb Watts whose effort was sliced wide.
Connor Ripley made a fantastic stop late in the first-half to tip behind a long-range strike from Mehmeti, with the Shrimps finding themselves a goal down at the break.
Connor Ripley was forced into another superb save in the second half, as Sam Vokes hit an effort on the volley, but Morecambe’s number one tipped it over at full stretch.
Some fantastic build-up play as an hour passed between Jensen Weir and Liam Shaw allowed the latter to shoot on goal, only for the goalkeeper to get a good hand on the goalbound effort.
Adam Mayor and Cole Stockton introduced late on to add some fire power up top.
Mayor made an immediate impact, as his strike from distance in the final ten minutes took a deflection and clipped the post out for a corner kick. Mayor took the corner, with the ball whipped in and going directly over the line to get a deserved equaliser for the Shrimps and his first league goal.
There was then huge drama in stoppage time, as Adam Mayor was put through one on one. His shot was well saved, only for Wycombe to break and force the ball into the back of the net at the other end, only for the referee to disallow the effort for a foul on Jacob Bedeau.
The point moves Morecambe off the foot of the League One table.
