Morecambe assistant manager John McMahon has returned to work following a period of absence due to medical reasons.
After being admitted to hospital in early December, McMahon had surgery before facing a spell of recuperation at home over Christmas.
Following a speedy and successful recovery, John will now complete a phased return to work, and he says he can't wait to get going again.
"I'm feeling really strong, positive and I'm really pleased to be back and looking forward to the challenges ahead," he said.
"It's been a slow process back, but now, I'm really eager, keen and so pleased to see the team have continued to show the desire to do well and lots of good performances.
"Although I've been away from the Club, I've still been watching on iFollow and keeping in touch with the Manager - it's been a welcome bonus to see the games and the team progressing.
"On medical advice, I need to be careful and it will be a phased return, so I'm really looking forward to building the days up and my input on the team and results.
"I'd like to thank everyone for their positive messages; Morecambe has always been a family driven Club in my opinion, with the supporters being the main stay of the Club and always will be.
"It says a lot about the people who come and watch the team week in, week out, and they are the real supporters who keep the Club going, so I thank every one of them and hopefully they'll see me on the sidelines soon in my shorts!"
