Morecambe announce latest Shrimps Women game to be played at Mazuma

The Mazuma Mobile Stadium will play host to Morecambe FC Women this weekend.

Altrincham FC Women are the visitors this Sunday (March 24) with a 14:00 kick-off in the Regional Plate, and you're invited to back the Shrimps Women.

Tickets for spectators are priced at £5, this cost covers up to four free children per full paying adult (additional children must pay the admission fee).

Season ticket holders can claim a free ticket (ST holders regular seats will not be available); alternatively, you can call 01524 411797 (select option three) or visit the MFC Club Shop.

Spectators will be housed in C1, C2 and D block. Parking is available on the day and the Club Shop will be open before the game; the home ticket office will also be open pre-match for ticket sales.

The Local Choice Suite will be open for general admission spectators until 16:30 with bar C open for business as well as a food counter. Furthermore, a food and beverage counter will be available in concourse one.

Matchday hospitality is available in the executive boxes.

Speaking to the Club’s official website, Joint Manager Nick Clark said: ‘’For me personally, it will be a great personal achievement being able to manage at the stadium.

“Though overall, this shows how far women’s football has come when we can play league games in such stadiums.

“Personally, I would love to break the attendance record for a women’s game at the stadium while also targeting victory against a tough Altrincham side.

“We’re in a good vein of form and really looking forward to the game; playing in front of our incredible supporters is huge, I hope we can make the Mazuma our home and I know the team feels the same.

“If you can get behind the women and get down to show your support, it would be much appreciated, we’d love to beat the previous attendance record of 654.

“Come on you Shrimps!”

Everton Women vs Liverpool Women will be shown pre-match on Sky (13:00 kick-off) as well as West Ham United Women vs Chelsea Women (16:30 kick-off).

Once the suite closes, the Think Interiors JBs Bar will open for spectators until 18:30.

Additionally, the Morecambe FC Community Sports team will be on hand to provide pre-match entertainment. The Shoot for Goal inflatable challenge will be on as well as a Shrimpettes display before kick-off.
