Lancaster City are back at The Giant Axe to host Marine on Non League Day.

The Dolly Blues have recently played three consecutive away games and have lost all of them.

They were beaten 5-0 by Ashton United, 2-1 by Matlock Town and 2-0 by Morpeth Town.

Those results saw them drop to ninth in the NPL Premier Division, eight points outside of the playoffs.

It remains to be seen whether forward Charlie Bailey will be fit for Saturday’s game.

He came off injured in the game against Matlock Town on March 9.

Bailey is the club’s joint top scorer for Lancaster this season, along with Dom Lawson, with eight goals.

Marine are flying high in the NPL Premier Division, sitting in fourth.

They have had two prolific goalscorers this season: Fin Sinclair-Smith (20) and Sol Solomon (17).

The result in the reverse fixture at the Marine Travel Arena was 2-1 to ‘the Mariners’ back in October.

Two former Lancaster players could feature for Marine on Saturday.

Defender Josh Wardle is the captain of Marine and played for City between 2013 and 2015.

Attacking midfielder Owen Robinson spent the latter stages of last season on loan at The Giant Axe from Sunderland.

Tickets for the game are priced at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions, £5 for students and PL or EFL season ticket holders, £3 for 12-17 year olds and free for under 12s with an accompanying adult.

The Non League Day clash between Lancaster City and Marine AFC kicks off at 3pm on Saturday (March 23) at The Giant Axe.
