Young DJ who plays music using his eyes hosts Eurovision party at Morecambe charity

An inspirational teenage DJ who plays music using his eyes has hosted a Eurovision Song Contest party for a Morecambe charity.

Unique Kidz & Co was delighted to be joined by Oli Cunningham, better known as DJ Oli, who uses an eye-tracking computer to speak and control his DJ software so he can perform at gigs.

Oli, who is from Kendal and has cerebral palsy, played a mix of classic Eurovision songs at the charity's 'Eurovision Party' held at its centre on Woodhill Lane in Morecambe on Friday.

"This was the second time Oli has come to DJ for us at Unique Kidz and Co and, as always, put on an amazing show," said a spokesperson for Unique Kidz & Co, posting on their Facebook page.

"DJ Oli uses his eyes and some clever software to bring us all the best music, accompanied by some amazing lights, lasers and projectors - and our new favourite - smoke filled bubbles!

"We had a great time dressing up, dancing and singing along all evening, thank you so much to everyone who came along to help as well as DJ Oli and his crew."

Unique Kidz & Co runs a range of services for disabled children, young adults and their families. The charity was set up in 2009 by two parents of children with disabilities.

It currently supports more than 120 local children and young adults through its afterschool clubs, holiday clubs, daytime support service, siblings group and stay and play sessions.

The Eurovision Song Contest takes place on Saturday in Liverpool.
