Jubilee Crafting Sessions

A Right Royal Crafty Street Party

Thursday June 2 and Friday June 3, 2pm to 4pm, Lancaster City Museum

 

Carnforth Big Jubilee Weekend - Beacon Lighting

Thursday June 2, 6pm to 10.30pm, Carnforth High School

Includes live entertainment and torch relay leading up to beacon lighting at 9.45pm

 

Morecambe Jubilee Beacon Lighting Ceremony

Thursday June 2, 6pm to 10pm, Stone Jetty, Morecambe

Live music, fireworks, DJ and food stalls, beacon to be lit at 9.45pm

Includes a hog roast, music and quiz and beacon lighting at 9.45pm

 

Kirkby Lonsdale Jubilee Celebration

Thursday June 2 to Sunday June 5

Includes beacon lighting in the play park on Thursday night, live music, teddy bears' picnic and more. 

 

Carnforth Big Jubilee Weekend - Community Sports & Fun Day

Friday June 3, 10am to 5.30pm, Carnforth Civic Hall (drama workshops 10-12) and then Carnforth High School from noon

Includes welly throwing, sack races, egg and spoon races, tug-o-war and more!

 

Jubilee Garden Party

Friday June 3, 11am to 4pm, Torrisholme Methodist Church

Organised by the Neuro Dropin charity, includes afternoon tea, street party and prize for best dressed from the decades.

 

Picnic on the Pitch

Friday June 3, 2pm onwards, Heysham Cricket Club

Bring your own picnic, live music, fun sporting activities

 

Carnforth Big Jubilee Weekend - Big Jubilee Lunch

Saturday June 4, roads close from 9am, event finishes 8pm, Lower Market Street and War Memorial Gardens, Carnforth

Beyond Radio will be there for a day of celebration and live entertainment in Carnforth.

 

Summer Jubilee Party

Saturday June 4, noon to 5pm, Morecambe War Memorial Hall Field 

Includes stalls, barbecue, petting zoo, afternoon teas, bouncy castle and fancy dress. For all the family.

 

Ryelands Residents Community Group Platinum Jubilee Street Party

Sunday June 5, 10am to 4pm, Ryelands Estate, Lancaster

Community picnic and variety of entertainment throughout the day

 

Carnforth Big Jubilee Weekend - The Big Jubilee Parade & Commemorative Service

Sunday June 5, 10am to 11.45am, from Upper Market Street (Council Offices) to North Road; Christ Church Lancaster Road to New Street; New Street to Market Street, War Memorial Gardens, Carnforth

Parade starts at 10.30am, commemorative service at 11am.
