A fly-on-the wall 'docusoap' about the life of world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury and his family will debut on Netflix this week.

At Home with the Furys has mainly been filmed at the family's home in Morecambe and will put "hundreds of millions" of eyeballs on our seaside town, according to 'The Gypsy King'.

The show will debut on the worldwide streaming channel this Wednesday, August 16.

It follows Tyson, his wife Paris and their six children in a warts-and-all depiction of their daily lives in Morecambe.

Earlier this year, Fury spoke to Beyond Radio about his hopes for the series.

At Home with the Furys will also star Tyson's brother Tommy Fury and his fiancee Molly-Mae Hague, who met on the ITV2 reality series Love Island, as well as Tyson's dad John.

Tyson's ongoing battles with mental health, as he struggles to settle into home life following his short-lived retirement from boxing in 2022, is a main theme of the series.

Paris, speaking to the JOE YouTube channel earlier this week, said Netflix viewers will see "no airs and graces" in the family's every day lives.

"II wanted to wake up in the morning, put my make-up on, and make sure the place is tidy," she said.

"That went out of the window after the first week.

"I think people gravitate towards these shows because it's real.

"There were no silly activities or put-on moments. It's just exactly what we are doing in our lives at that time. That's what people like to see. I think people love to see the normality. As much as we think we're normal. we're not. But it's our normal."

Fury and his family are often seen out and about in Morecambe and Lancaster supermarkets, or eating out in cafes and restaurants. At 6ft 9in and 19 stone, the boxing champion is a recognisable figure around the town.

Tyson said to JOE: "There's a lot of normal stuff in there. Picking dog s__t up, doing the bins, school runs, that's as normal as it comes. Going shopping.

"But obviously I'm world heavyweight champion so there's going to be other things as well."

In a scene from At Home with the Furys, Tyson poses for a photograph with fans on Morecambe Promenade.

The series is expected to boost tourism in Morecambe, which is already home to hit television series, ITV crime drama The Bay and Channel 5 reality show 22 Kids and Counting, starring Britain's biggest family The Radfords.

It follows a previous series about the life of the Furys, 'Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King' which aired on ITV1 in 2020.

Here is a trailer for At Home with the Furys where Tyson delivers a message for all other reality TV shows while lying on Morecambe beach. WARNING, contains strong language.

Born into a family of Irish travellers and named after the legendary heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson, Fury, who celebrated his 35th birthday on Saturday, has been a professional boxer since 2008 and is undefeated with 33 wins and one draw in 34 fights.

The charismatic and outspoken 'Gypsy King' captured the world heavyweight championship for the first time by defeating long-reigning Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

Afterwards, Tyson sank into a period of depression and bloated to around 27 stone, but shed the weight to make a stunning comeback to the ring in 2018.

He then defeated his American rival Deontay Wilder to win the WBC Heavyweight Title in Las Vegas in 2020, defending it in front of 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium against Dillian Whyte in 2022. His last fight was a 10th round win over Dereck Chisora last December, and he is next due to fight former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou in a non-title boxing match on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.

Fury has become one of the most recognisable sports personalities on the planet, having written several books about his life, released music singles and appeared for WWE professional wrestling, all while campaigning for mental health awareness.

Originally from the Manchester area, the world champion has lived in Morecambe Bay for around 15 years, and now lives in a £1.7m property in the Heaton with Oxcliffe area of the town.

He trains at his own gym based in the grounds of Morecambe Football Club close to his home.

Tyson and Paris have six children - Venezuela, Prince John James, Prince Tyson II, Valencia, Prince Adonis Amaziah and Athena. Paris is pregnant with the couple's seventh child.
