World heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury is set to release his debut solo single.

'The Gypsy King' has recorded a cover version of Neil Diamond's classic singalong anthem 'Sweet Caroline'.

Proceeds from the Morecambe boxer's song will go to men's mental health charity Talk Club.

The 34-year-old's single has been co-produced by Robbie Williams' long-time songwriting partner Guy Chambers and will be released on November 11.

Fury brought out a Christmas song with Williams in 2019 called 'Bad Sharon'.

The WBC Heavyweight Champion is known for singing to boxing crowds following his fights.

He has also been very open about his battle with mental health issues.

'Sweet Caroline' has become a favourite for sport crowds to sing along to, and Tyson's version will be released just in time for the football World Cup.

Tyson said: "'Sweet Caroline' is a record I’ve always loved, and I’m excited to record and release it.

"It’s a great opportunity for me to give something back to mental health and hopefully continue to raise awareness for a cause that’s really close to my heart and if it helps England along the way in the World Cup, well that’s an added bonus.”

The track will be released by Warner Music UK with 100 per cent of their profits and Fury's earnings going to Talk Club.

Talk Club is a talking and listening club for men, offering talking and sport groups, and therapy to help keep you mentally fit.

Fury is currently in training for his next WBC Title defence against fellow Brit Derek Chisora on December 3.
