Tyson Fury sponsors Morecambe women's football team

Tyson Fury has announced a sponsorship deal with Morecambe FC's women's football team.

The WBC Heavyweight Boxing champion was already sponsoring the men's team with his 'Gypsy King' brand appearing on the players' shorts.

The Morecambe fighter announced on Friday that he was upgrading the deal to sponsor Morecambe FC Women as well.

Fury will be their home and away front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2022/23 season.

Fury revealed in July that he would become a sponsor for his home town football club in a short-term partnership for the 2022/23 season which could be extended in future.

Morecambe FC said joining forces with the heavyweight king would bring "worldwide recognition" to the League One club.

'The Gypsy King' trains at his gym next to the Morecambe FC pitch.
