Tyson Fury hints at ring comeback while having head shaved in Morecambe barber shop

Tyson Fury has hinted that he might be willing to fight again - while having his head shaved at a Morecambe barber's.

The WBC world heavyweight boxing champion was speaking during an interview filmed while he had a haircut at K1 Barbers on Euston Road near the town centre.

Fury answered questions from his promoter Frank Warren and interviewer Dev Sahni via video call as he sat in the barber's chair.

The undefeated Morecambe-based champion announced his retirement from professional boxing recently and has been adamant that he will keep to his word.

But in the interview aired on the Queensberry Promotions YouTube channel on Tuesday night, he revealed that he might be willing to enter talks to fight again after Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua battle for the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles in a rematch later this year.

Fury did warn though, that bringing him out of retirement would "be expensive" and require "a big cheque book".

'The Gypsy King' also hinted at other "big news" to be announced soon.

"Frank and I have got something coming, to be really excited about, but it doesn't involve Usyk or Joshua at this moment," he said.

"I will make a decision on all this.

"I wouldn't be expected to fight until October, November, December anyway. But because I've said I'm retiring, everyone's on me 'are you really retiring?' every single day.

"I've got no rush decisions but when this middleweight (Usyk) knocks out this bodybuilder (Joshua), there's only going to be one man to sort this absolute circus out.

"What I would say to these people who want this fight to happen, is you'd better have a big cheque book, because to bring the big GK out of retirement, is going to cost. I am a prizefighter and I do fight for prizes. But if you want me to do a mission on this middleweight and show what a real heavyweight does to 'em, it's going to be expensive.

"Not until the fight has happened with Joshua and Usyk first. Until then, the big mack's going to stay in Morecambe, training like a lunatic, getting hair cuts and shaves on Mondays, car valets on Tuesdays, bin day on Wednesdays, and training every single day until further notice."

Fury also spoke about his third book, which comes out in November, and his upcoming speaking tour of the UK, which begins this week.

Then on Wednesday morning, in an interview with Good Morning Britain on ITV1, Tyson continued to say that he is definitely retired and would only come back for exhibition bouts for "entertainment".

"As far as I am concerned, me and professional boxing are kaput, done," he told presenters Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley.

"I'm going to do some exhibition matches, not real fights."

Fury said his wish-list of opponents could include ex-world boxing champions Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and Frank Bruno, and wrestler turned Hollywood actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Tyson also revealed that a 10-part fly on the wall documentary about his life would soon be debuting on Netflix.
