Tyson Fury 'punched out' a wrestler at a WWE extravaganza in Wales, sang 'American Pie' in the ring and then revealed he will return to boxing with a fight announcement due next week.
The Gypsy King announced plans to return to professional boxing after he made his presence felt at WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Clash at the Castle.
The wrestling spectacular was held on Saturday night at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, and shown live to subscribers of BT Sport.
A huge fan of the global pro wrestling extravaganza, Fury popped up at ringside to land a knockout blow on WWE superstar Austin Theory to massive cheers from the 63,000 fans in attendance.
Tyson landed the right hand to stop the American 'bad guy' from getting involved in the main event title match between heavyweights Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
After Reigns, cousin of WWE wrestler turned Hollywood film star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, defeated McIntyre to retain his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship, the 6ft 9in Fury climbed into the ring to confront the wrestling champion.
The two giants shook hands to boos from the crowd at the first WWE event in a UK stadium for 30 years.
But then Fury helped former champion McIntyre to his feet, and gave a speech of encouragement to the Scot.
Then the two of them sang Tyson's signature tune 'American Pie' to the delight of the fans.
The Morecambe-based WBC Heavyweight Champion then appeared at the post-event press conference, and was asked if he might join WWE full-time.
"At the moment I'm a heavyweight world (boxing) champion and I've got plenty of fights that I've got to take care of in the next few years," he said.
"I really really have a passion for WWE. Never say never."
This was the clearest indication yet that Fury, 34, is set to return to the professional boxing ring, after previously announcing his retirement.
He also told BT Sport's Ariel Helwani that his next fight will be announced next week, confirming that he will return to boxing "for sure".
This came after Helwani asked Fury if he was retired from boxing, or unretired.
"Officially, I saw a video from the middleweight (Oleksandr Usyk) who just beat the bodybuilder (Anthony Joshua), saying he wanted to fight me, and called me out after the fight," said Tyson.
"I replied straightaway, and I've just done another one recently, and now he doesn't want to fight.
"So he let his mouth go, and now he's running scared. Says he wants to fight next year, he's got some injuries, so I can't really do much about it.
"I'm going to be fighting very soon against, we don't know yet, we're still looking for an opponent.
"I'm going to fight in the next few months here in the UK. For sure.
"Usyk's not going to be ready. Whoever (promoter) Frank Warren gets for me, that's who I'm going to defend my WBC belt against."
Helwani said: "So you're back in it?"
Fury replied: "Yeah. They're all bums anyway. I was away for a while but I'm back now.
"I still think even though he's lost three of his last five fights, I still think that people still want to see (Fury v Joshua). So if Usyk can't be ready, we'll go and offer AJ the fight.
"The Big Mack will be back soon. I'm going to start training camp soon, going to get an opponent, and we're going to put an epic, epic night on.
"There's a lot of s__t going on in the world, I'm going to give the people something to look forward to, and that's The Gypsy King coming back to fight.
"I think it's going to get announced next week. I know who I'm fighting, I know who it is, and I know where I'm fighting. I can't tell you who it is."
Oleksandr Usyk is the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion, who beat Britain's Anthony Joshua to retain his belts last month in Saudi Arabia.
A fight with Fury for the undisputed title has been mooted, but is unlikely to happen in 2022.
"Fighting Tyson Fury in December is impossible," said the Ukrainian.
"First, I have old injuries. Second, I just don't want to box in December. I haven't left the gym for half a year, I want to be with my children, my family. Boxing can wait a little. Next year I think it will happen."
