A music shop on Morecambe seafront has welcomed a famous customer.
TV presenter Matt Allwright delighted staff when he popped into Promenade Music on Monday.
The star of BBC's Rogue Traders, Watchdog and The One Show is also a top pedal steel guitar player and was keen to chat about his passion with the Promenade Music team.
Matt is also friends with local musician Gary Thistlethwaite who works at the store.
They met in Dublin at a pedal steel guitar trade fair a few years ago and hit it off.
So when Matt was filming in Cumbria, he decided to stop off in Morecambe to visit Gary.
"Gary and Steve (Wren) who work in the shop met Matt in Dublin and got on like a house on fire," said David Wood, owner of Promenade Music.
"Matt is also a massive fan of (indie band) The Milltown Brothers, and Gary played pedal steel guitar on their album.
"So Matt looks up to Gary, as someone he really respects.
"It's nice that he would think of us and take the time to come in."
Matt posted on his Instagram after the visit, writing: "Lovely to meet Gary and the team at Promenade Music. What an Aladdin's cave! An incredible shop. Lots of pedal steel chat. Gary's a playa!"
Promenade Music has been open on Marine Road since 1989 and is famed for its huge stock of musical instruments.
