Two singing sisters performed a dream duet with music superstar will.i.am when they appeared on a TV talent show.

Gabriella and Jasmine Tuicicia sang alongside The Black Eyed Peas star in front of a Christmas TV audience on 'The Voice Kids'.

The schoolgirls from Carnforth, who regularly perform at local venues and events, told Will that they usually sing the Black Eyed Peas' number one hit 'Where is the Love?' as part of their set.

So Will got up to sing it with them, bringing the house down in the TV studio.

The Voice Kids, hosted by Emma Willis, airs on ITV1 and is a competition between aspiring singers aged seven to 14.

Four superstar coaches sit with their backs to the contestants as they sing and have to judge them on their voice alone.

If they hit their buzzer during the song, their chair spins around, and this means the coach has picked the contestant to be on their mentorship team.

The coaches on The Voice Kids were will.i.am, Pixie Lott, Danny Jones (from the band McFly) and Ronan Keating.

Gabriella and Jasmine, wearing matching outfits, were joined in the studio by their parents Sarah and Josh.

Mum Sarah said: "They are very close to each other, nearly everything they do is together."

Dad Josh said: "They are born performers."

The sisters sang a fantastic duet of Stevie Wonder's hit 'Master Blaster (Jammin')' to get the audience singing and clapping along.

Sadly none of the judges hit their buzzers, although they said they were close to picking the sisters to get through to the next round

"You guys did an awesome job, your harmonies were spot-on," said Will.

"I wish I had you guys on my team."

Gabriella and Jasmine posted a message on their Facebook page after the episode aired earlier this week.

"We had a great time on The Voice Kids 2022 and truly grateful for the moment and experience, and we got to sing with legend Will.i.am and we sang a powerful song with meaning to it 'Master Blaster (Jammin')'.

"We would like to thank all the people who continue to support us, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts."

Gabriella and Jasmine sang at Morecambe Music Festival earlier this year (see photo below).

They perform a mix of reggae, pop rap, hip-hop and R 'n' B, and say they are huge fans of rappers Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg.

They will be singing at Sydney's restaurant in Lancaster on New Year's Eve from 8pm.
