Memories of a former cinema and nightclub in Morecambe will be shared at two open days this weekend.
The Queen's Market on Victoria Street will be open for people to take a look at the restoration of the building and help create a 'living archive' history of the venue.
People will be asked to write their memories on a post-it note and add it to a timeline to show the history of the Queen's Market.
There will also be a book for people to write down their stories of the building, or you can email photos and anecdotes to queensmarketmorecambe@gmail.com
The building was opened in 1895 originally as a market and has also been home to the Palladium Cinema, Crystal T's nightclub and Concorde Squash Club over the years.
The open days are from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, September 2 and 3.
Local man Nick Smith (pictured below) bought the building at auction for £50,000 in 2015.
He then began the painstaking process of clearing the derelict building of 200 tonnes of rubbish, restoring original features, and transforming the look of the interior and exterior - all by himself.
He has made great progress with the renovations, but still Nick has been struggling to find the funding and support he needs to realise his dream of reopening the building as a community hub where local people can go to develop skills in art, performance, science, technology and much more.
