The Lancaster and Morecambe live music fundraiser School Aid has raised £4,400 for local schools.

The money will be divided between four local primary schools - West End Primary, Morecambe Bay, St Patrick's in Heysham and Skerton St Luke's in Lancaster - to help schoolchildren and families who are struggling financially.

Local musicians came together to perform 24 hours of live music over the weekend across two venues - The Bobbin in Lancaster on Saturday, and The Exchange in Morecambe on Sunday.

The event was supported by Beyond Radio, and hosted by Gibson Freedman and Steve Morrison on the Saturday, and Greg Lambert on the Sunday.

Money was raised via donations, raffles and auctions.
