Police investigate after hate crime in Lancaster city centre

Police are appealing for witnesses after a hate crime in Lancaster city centre.

Officers believe the incident involved a group of six to eight young males.

A police spokesperson said: "We are looking for anyone who may have witnessed a hate incident which took place on Market Street near Starbucks at approximately 7.30pm (on March 1), and a further incident at around 8pm on Penny Street, near to Wilkos."
