Morecambe Football Club will host two nights of outdoor concerts featuring stars of world-renowned Abba and Queen musicals 'Mamma Mia' and 'We Will Rock You'.
'Stars Of The West End' is coming to the Mazuma Stadium next May featuring performers from the smash hit musicals backed by a band straight from London's West End.
The gigs will be held on the Morecambe FC pitch and will take place on Friday May 26 (An Evening of Abba) and Saturday May 27 (An Evening of Queen).
Morecambe FC will host the shows in partnership with St John's Hospice and entertainment promoters Squareleg Promotions.
The concerts will pay tribute to the music of pop legends Abba and rock icons Queen, and will star a "wonderful collection of performers from London's internationally recognised West End on display on both evenings".
The gigs will be the first ever outdoor live music shows inside the stadium.
A three-day music festival including a concert by Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra was planned to mark the club's centenary in 2020, but the shows had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
Early bird pitch standing tickets for 'Stars of the West End' are priced at £17.50 for each show, with seated tickets on sale at £22.50.
All proceeds from a £2.50 booking fee will be directly donated to St John's Hospice.
Hospitality experiences are also available at the club on both nights, including a two-course meal and drink on arrival, priced at £75 per person.
Hospitality package numbers are strictly limited, so fans are urged to buy their packages as early as possible.
