A father and daughter from Morecambe have appeared three times on the hit TV quiz show Pointless.
Mick and Natalie Gardner were contestants on the BBC1 game show on the episodes broadcast on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.
Mick and Natalie didn't quite manage to win but did reach the head-to-head on their first show, beating two other pairs of contestants and just missing out on a place in the Pointless Final.
Pointless is hosted by Alexander Armstrong and is one of the most popular game shows on television.
On Pointless, contestants have to come up with answers that a survey of members of the public would not think of - meaning the lower your score, the better.
On their first show, Mick came up with a coveted 'Pointless answer' when he correctly said that Tarawera was a river in New Zealand, which none of the public knew the answer to.
But the Gardners were unlucky not to reach the final after their opponents from Jarrow managed lower scores on questions about protected cheeses and songs with silence in the middle!
During the show, Alexander Armstrong asked the contestants to talk about something interesting about themselves.
Natalie, a facilities co-ordinator and qualified sports masseuse, said that she is a massive Tom Jones fan and likes to sing 'Sex Bomb' on karaoke, while Mick said he prefers heavy metal!
And Mick, a retired electrician, revealed that his strange claim to fame was that when he retired, his brother challenged him to visit every Wetherspoon's pub in the country. At the time of recording the episode, he had visited 1004 of them!
