More revealed on new Tyson Fury Netflix series

More has been revealed about a new six-part Netflix documentary on the life of Tyson Fury.

'At Home with the Furys' will document the world heavyweight boxing champion's life in Morecambe "when the gloves come off".

The series will give audiences a fly-on-the-wall view of Fury’s inner life at his home in the town and his decision to focus on his family - particularly as the boxer has ebbed in and out of retirement in recent months - as he changes nappies, drives the kids to school and tries to find meaning outside of the ring.

The show was confirmed at the Edinburgh TV Festival today (August 24) and will follow Fury and his family as he retires, embracing family life with his wife, Paris; father John and six children, Venezuela, Prince John, Prince Tyson, Prince Adonis, Valencia and Athena.

The show is due to arrive on the streaming service Netflix in 2023 and is directed by Josh Jacobs and produced by Laura Leigh. Production is under way, and Tyson has been filming for the documentary in Morecambe recently.

'At Home With the Furys' follows the ITV documentary series 'Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King' which aired in 2020.

Meanwhile, questions continue on whether the Morecambe boxer will return to the professional ring.

On Wednesday, Tyson issued a seven-day ultimatum to any "suitors" who want to pay for him to fight Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight crown.

Speaking while out running on Morecambe Promenade, the WBC Heavyweight Champion made it clear that he would stay retired unless the money he wants is on the table by September 1.

In a post on his social media, Fury said: "To all these suitors out there who want to make the fight, I'm going to give you all seven days, until the 1st of September, to come up with the money.

"If not, thank you very much, it's been a blast, I'm retired."

Later, in a separate post, he said: "All those offers submitted must be to my lawyer Robert Davies in writing, with proof of funds. So let the games begin. Boom!"

Fury's demand came just 24 hours after his promoter Frank Warren revealed that Tyson had told him to "get the fight done" with the WBA, WBO and IBF champion Usyk.

Also on Wednesday morning, Tyson reiterated that he'd want "500 million" to fight the Ukrainian.

Speaking to TalkSport, Fury said: "I've made it quite clear that I'm retired from boxing. However, I will come back, but it has to be for an obscene amount of money.

"If they want me to fight this unknown quantity, and give him an opportunity at legendary status in trying to beat me, they've got to pay for that.

"This fight is purely about money. I'm happily retired. I don't need money. I've got plenty of money.

"But if they want the big Gypsy King to fight, the biggest fight in the world, it's got to be the biggest payday in the world.

"I don't respect (Usyk). I've seen more excitement in Morecambe on a Friday night.

"He couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding."
