Lancaster funny man Jon Richardson and his wife Lucy Beaumont have performed a stand-up gig at a school to raise thousands for families affected by the cost of living crisis.
The couple, stars of the TV mockumentary show 'Meet the Richardsons', appeared at a fundraising gig at Netherthorpe School in Chesterfield.
Ms Beaumont, a former teacher, said the couple had wanted to help families who were finding it tough.
The gig took place on November 16 and attracted an audience of 500 people, with money raised from the £25 ticket price going into a community fund set up by The Cavendish Learning Trust, which runs the school.
Jon, star of TV shows including '8 Out Of 10 Cats', returns to the Lancaster area regularly and has performed several charity gigs locally over the past few years.
The former Lancaster Royal Grammar pupil has performed three times at Morecambe Winter Gardens to raise thousands for the theatre and for St John’s Hospice.
In September, Jon celebrated his 40th birthday with his dad and friends by taking part in a pub quiz at The Exchange in Morecambe.
