Huge crowds of people partied on the Promenade in glorious weather to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and Beyond Radio spoke to some of them!
Tables were lined up all the way from opposite Albert Road in the West End of Morecambe to the Lakeland Hills artwork near the Clock Tower as families and friends enjoyed being part of a massive picnic on the seafront.
The event started at 1pm and the weather was kind to Morecambe as temperatures soared in sunny blue skies.
Organisers Morecambe Town Council said afterwards they had "smashed the record for the longest coronation party", saying that 20,000 people had attended.
There were, however, several rows of empty tables, particularly in the West End section of the set-up which weaved its way along the seafront.

But central Morecambe in particular was still absolutely teeming with people enjoying the party atmosphere when Beyond Radio was there on Sunday afternoon. And the event brought plenty of national media spotlight on Morecambe too, with BBC and Sky cameras in attendance.
Street party-goers had paid £15 for their spot and brought their own food and drink to enjoy in the sunshine. Some wore royal fancy dress while many waved Union flags and decorated their tables in red, white and blue.
Angela Hartlebury from Morecambe had a table near the Clock Tower with her family.
She said: "We're really excited and have been really looking forward to it. I love it."

A group of people from Oldham and Ellesmere Port who visit Morecambe regularly had set up at the other end of the Promenade in the West End.
Catherine Jenkins from Oldham said: "I saw it on the website, I've got a caravan at Ocean Edge and as soon as I saw it I thought yeah, definitely, it's something to celebrate the King's Coronation. I love Morecambe, it's so dog-friendly."

And we chatted to Jane Storey, who has recently moved to Morecambe, She said: "I am a royalist and I just thought what a fun thing and how nice to meet people. I love it.
"I came from a sleepy village in Cambridgeshire and I love the fact that you've got lots of entertainment going on, and it's a lovely place to be."

The town council had predicted 10,000 people would attend and there were big crowds on the Promenade throughout the afternoon, and seafront pubs and other businesses were packed.
Luke Trevaskis, chief officer of Morecambe Town Council said: "The Coronation Carnival has been an opportunity for Morecambe to celebrate its history, heritage, culture, and future. It has been a proud expression of the vibrancy of Morecambe's diversity, and it has been heartening to see the abundance of local community groups in the town coming together to mark this historic occasion.
"It is always a humbling privilege to work with so many local people who support the rich tapestry of life in this seaside town and the council is immensely grateful to everybody for coming, and all our partners who have made this event possible including Lancaster City Council, Eden Project and Morecambe BID."
The Coronation Carnival also saw appearances by local samba drummers Samba Espirito (pictured below), carnival performers, live music near the Midland and a grand finale fireworks display at the Stone Jetty.
Most people Beyond Radio spoke to enjoyed the event, but there were also some complaints.
Fiona Seery, posting on the Beyond Radio Facebook page, said: "We enjoyed our day but it was a shambles.
"Turned up at the Battery where we had booked our tables. No tables. No information and eventually found some young lad who was putting table numbers on and found we had been moved. We still had a good time but bad organisation."
