Lancaster & Morecambe College is celebrating a big milestone this year and also planning new projects on the campus.
The college marks 200 years of further education in the Lancaster and Morecambe District in 2024.
To celebrate this 200th birthday, college staff are looking for memories and photos from people who attended the college in the past.
An open day will also be held on the Torrisholme Road campus on Saturday July 6.
And the college is also in the early stages of plans for a new civil engineering training centre, and also developing digital skills training at the college, particularly after the government announced plans to open a National Cyber Force cyber security centre in Lancashire in 2025.
Beyond Radio spoke to Danny Braithwaite, new principal of Lancaster & Morecambe College, and Victoria Carter, the college's head of engagement.

The college can trace its roots back to 1824 when the first Institute of Mechanics was set up on Mary Street in Lancaster.
Over the years there have also been technical education centres on Penny Street and the Storey Centre, and also at Poulton Square in Morecambe. The college itself opened on its current site in 1963.
To celebrate the anniversary, the college has launched a dedicated Facebook page hoping to build up an archive of memories and photos.
Mr Braithwaite, who took over as principal and chief executive in September, said: "It's a real privilege to hear some of the comments about the college and hopefully from my perspective carry on that legacy and be a part of history moving forward.
"It's really overwhelming in some respects because you're at the helm of an organisation that's so well established and a real pillar of the community, and a vibrant college that's setting itself up for another 200 years.
"I've settled in really well and I've been made to feel really welcome. It's an exciting new opportunity and I hope I can do it justice."
Lancaster and Morecambe College is one of the partners of the Eden Project Morecambe, teaming up on the Morecambe Bay Curriculum to give students 'green skills' for the future.
The college also recently unveiled its revamped The Bay restaurant (pictured below) which is open to the public and showcases the hospitality skills of students.
Mr Braithwaite also said there are plans to develop a civil engineering training centre with the support of local employers, with talks beginning after the half-term break, and also develop digital training at the college.
"Digital is a massive industry in itself; Cyber Force is coming into the area (at Samlesbury near Preston) and will need jobs, and need people to fulfil those from a cyber security perspective," he said.
"It's an area for us as a college to move into and be part of, and hopefully provide the skills for local employers and the young people coming through to access those jobs."
