High-flying Lancaster and Morecambe air cabin crew students get dressed for success

The Lancaster and Morecambe College air cabin crew class of 2022

High-flying students at Lancaster and Morecambe College are celebrating a milestone in their quest to become aeroplane cabin crew.

The college released a photo of the members of the college's Air Cabin Crew Level 2 course after they received their brand new uniforms.

"Introducing your Air Cabin Crew class of 2022!" said a post on the college Facebook page.

"Their brand new uniforms have arrived and don't they look amazing!

"Cabin crew careers are a popular choice for many of our students and this course is perfect for those who see a future in the air.

"The course is designed for students who want broad–based vocational preparation for employment in a cabin crew role and those who are passionate about Travel & Tourism."

The aim of the course is to help students gain employment within the aviation industry.

The course includes a mandatory trip to an aviation training centre where learners complete practical training as cabin crew and get involved in activities such as firefighting and emergency evacuations.

The students also hear from industry expert guest speakers who share their knowledge and experience so students are prepared and ready to join the cabin crew workforce. Jet 2 Holidays host a career session and share an insiders’ view of the company’s recruitment process.
