Extra tickets to go on sale for Tyson Fury fight

Extra tickets for Tyson Fury's WBC Heavyweight Title fight with Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium will go on sale today (Wednesday April 6) at noon.

An extra 4,000 tickets have been made available after the capacity at the national stadium was increased to 94,000 especially for the fight on Saturday April 23.

They will go on sale as coach packages exclusively from Ticketmaster.

"The 90,000 would have already been a record attendance for boxing but, such was the demand, Queensberry Promotions and Top Rank, along with our hosts Wembley Stadium, sought permission from Brent Council to increase capacity to the biggest seen at a sports event at the national stadium since it was rebuilt in 2007," said a spokesperson for Queensberry Promotions, Fury's promoter.

"An original 85,000 tickets were snapped up in a matter of three hours after going on sale, followed a week later by the initial additional 5,000 tickets also sold in conjunction with coach travel."

Fury, 33, who has been training for the fight at his gym near Morecambe Football Club, released a message on his Instagram.

"Just a quick update to let you know that camp's going really well.

"Less than three weeks out, cannot wait to see you all there in the Big Smoke at Wembley Stadium.

"Dillian Whyte is getting knocked out, man!

"See you all there, all my loyal fans, God bless you all."

Meanwhile the undercard for Fury's world heavyweight boxing championship defence has been announced.

Morecambe's own Isaac Lowe, Tyson's friend and training partner, will face undefeated Nick Ball from Liverpool for the the vacant WBC Silver featherweight title.

Tyson Fury's brother Tommy Fury wlll also be in action.

The show is available to watch on BT Sport Box Office and begins at 6pm.
