The Bay International Film Festival 

A new annual film festival in Morecambe, with live cinema screenings and awards, with a packed programme of events, retrospective screenings of classics, feature film screenings made by Northern Filmmakers or having a Northern premiere), and an international short film competition. Events at Reel Cinema, West End Playhouse and Midland Hotel. 

Until October 29, West End Playhouse and Reel Cinema, Morecambe. Festival includes photo exhibitions at the Midland Hotel October 22-25, and October 27-29.

Johnny's Fear Factory 

An immersive horror experience that is designed to scare, this Halloween scream park will feature four horror zones including Hallway of Horrors, Ghost Rider, Weirder Things and Electrotag. 

Daily until November 5, former Hitchen's and Woolworth's buildings, Marine Road Central, Morecambe 

Dark Dukes 

Lancaster’s biggest horror festival featuring a handpicked selection of general horror films, including a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Wicker Man, other cult classics, plus spooky themed live events and family fun.

Paul Smith – Joker 

The scouse funny man mixes his trade mark audience interaction with more hilarious true stories from his everyday life. (Both nights sold out but contact Grand to join waiting list)
