A quantity of stolen property has been recovered from an address in Kendal following the arrest of a man.
The discovery came following an incident on Kirkstone Mews, Kendal on Saturday (February 17).
Following the arrest of a 47 year old male his home address was searched. A number of items including bikes have been seized that police believe are stolen property.
A spokesperson said: ‘’If you or anyone you know living in Kendal have been subject to a crime, particularly theft of a bike and have not reported it to us yet please get in touch on 101 or report online.
‘’It's really important that we can bring appropriate charges but we have to be able to demonstrate that any property we have recovered actually belongs to you.
‘’Please share to ensure that we have the best opportunity to return any stolen property and bring a prosecution.’’
