Due to the short notice of the General Election some polling stations have had to change from their usual locations.
Voters who have previously voted at St. Cuthbert’s Church, Clifton will now go to Clifton Primary School.
Voters who previously voted at The Belsfield Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere will now vote at Windermere Rugby Union Football Club, Dawes Meadow, Longlands Road, Bowness-on-Windermere.
Voters who previously voted at Coniston Institute will now vote at Coniston Sports and Social Centre, Shepherd’s Bridge Lane, Coniston.
Some voters who usually vote at The Athenaeum in Leasgill, will now vote at Sedgwick Village Hall. This is because the polling district of Hincaster is in the Morecambe and Lunesdale constituency, whilst the polling district of Heversham is in the Westmorland and Lonsdale constituency. This move was necessary to ensure that voters cast their vote in the right constituency.
If you previously voted at the Athenaeum and are not sure which polling station to go to, check your poll card.
