Four men were arrested as part of an investigation into a burglary in Ambleside.
It occurred in the early hours of yesterday (January 23) at a property on Rothay Road.
Officers were called at 2:37am to the report where entry was forced to the property.
The suspect(s) were disturbed by the occupant and left the area in a vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle shortly after and arrested four men on suspicion of burglary – two from Wigan, one from St Helens and another of no fixed address.
