First half as goals from Tanto Olaofe and Fraser Horsfall saw hosts two up at the interval.

Antoni Sarcevic’s corner from the right caused problems, with Kyle Wootton was waiting to score, but a vital interception at the death from David Tutonda denied the forward.

Soon after, the goal came. Paddy Madden dispossessed Nelson Khumbeni on the half way line, and drove down the right side. His deep cross was headed back across the six yard area by Wootton, where Tanto Olaofe smashed in at the back post for his 21st goal of the season.

Farrend Rawson blocked another Olaofe shot soon after, before Charlie Brown’s dangerous free kick saw a defensive header just take the ball away from JJ McKiernan, who was starting after injury for the first time since January 1.

County doubled their lead deep in first half stoppage time.

Sarcevic’s corner was nodded in at the back post by Fraser Horsfall.

In the second half, Archie Mair was called into action as Callum Camps latched onto a through ball, only to be denied by a strong hand to his right.

Five minutes from time, Joel Senior found himself in space just outside the box, but his effort was wide of target from 20 yards.
