Morecambe boxer Isaac Lowe will return to action this Saturday with a six-rounder on the undercard of his friend Tyson Fury's world heavyweight title defence.

The WBC International Featherweight Champion and former Commonwealth Champion will face Sandeep Singh Bhatti at Tottenham Hotspur Football Stadium.

'The Westgate Warrior' is coming off two consecutive stoppage losses, to Luis Alberto Lopez and most recently to Nick Ball on the undercard of Tyson Fury v Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium in April.

The 28-year-old, who trains with Fury at his gym at Morecambe Football Club, now has a professional boxing record of 21 wins from 26 fights, with three draws and two losses.

His opponent Bhatti has a record of eight wins in 12 contests.

"One thing I don't do is back away from a challenge, said Isaac, when interviewed on Tuesday by the iFLTV boxing YouTube channel.

"If I go in there and give it my all and give the fans a treat then that's it, job done.

"The main thing about this fight is getting back in there, no injuries, go and have a good performance in front of a good crowd again, get a nice win, get the confidence back, go back, have a nice Christmas, train over Christmas, and then in 2023 there's some big fights out there."

Isaac also said he was grateful to Tyson Fury for the opportunities he receives fighting in big stadiums on the undercard of his friend's shows.

"I thank Tyson a lot, I owe him a lot, he's like a big brother to me. We go everywhere together.

"He's in good shape, he's done a nine-and-a-half-week training camp, he's done everything by the book. I expect nothing but the best from Tyson on Saturday night."
