Manager Mark Fell says there will be changes when Lancaster City face Radcliffe

Mark Fell, Lancaster City FC manager

Lancaster City will return to the Giant Axe looking for first three points of season on Tuesday night (August 23).

It has been a tough start to the Northern Premier League season for Mark Fell’s men, with two draws and a narrow defeat that came against Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday.

The Dolly Blues haven’t been short of chances, so now it’s just a case of being more clinical.

As for their opponents Radcliffe, they’ve had a draw, a win and a loss in their opening three games, so Tuesday night’s game will be battle between two teams who will want to get some consistency to their season.

Mark Fell has already revealed there will be changes to the Dollies’ side who lost 1-0 to Stalybridge Celtic.

When he spoke to the club website on Saturday evening, he said: “We’re going to have to make changes because if we’re not scoring enough goals, we’ve got to do something differently.

“We’ve got a couple of options, we can make some tweaks and changes, it’s going to be intense, we know that.”

The Dollies have three games between Tuesday and Bank Holiday Monday.

Lancaster City vs Radcliffe gets underway at the Giant Axe on Tuesday at 7.45pm.
