Warning after youth anti-social behaviour at Lancaster children’s centre

Police have issued a warning after a group of youths were seen behaving anti-socially by a children's centre in Lancaster.

The group were seen throwing bricks at the Lune Park Children's Centre on Owen Road, and climbing on the roof, putting themselves and other members of the public at risk.

PCSO Emma McGaughrin said: ‘’Neighbourhood Policing Patrols will be increasing in the area and any youths believed to be engaging in reported anti-social behaviour, will be spoken to and dealt with appropriately.

‘’If you have any young kids who have been out this weekend, please advise them of keeping themselves safe and to stay away from the Lune Children's Centre in the evenings unless necessary.’’
