Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora confirmed for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 3

Tyson Fury will fight Derek Chisora for the WBC Heavyweight Title at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday December 3.

The fight was officially announced this morning and a press conference will be held at around 12.15pm today.

Tickets will go on sale at noon tomorrow from Ticketmaster. The fight will be broadcast live on BT Sport Box Office.

Here is Tyson Fury's reaction to the news on his Twitter page @tyson_fury

The undefeated Fury, 34, has already beaten Chisora twice in his career, a unanimous points win in 2011 followed by a one-sided 10th round retirement victory in 2014.

As a result, many fight experts will see a third fight between the two heavyweights as a mismatch, especially as the 38-year-old Londoner has 12 professional defeats in his 45-fight career.

However, grizzled veteran Chisora has impressed in his most recent fights against top level opposition, pushing WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk to a close loss in 2020, before two competitive defeats to Fury's training partner Joseph Parker followed by a split decision win over former world title challenger Kubrat Pulev.

Last week, Morecambe-based Fury's promoter Frank Warren confirmed that Chisora was likely to be 'The Gypsy King's opponent on December 3. But today marked the official announcement.

Fury was originally hoping to fight Usyk on December 3, or former champion Anthony Joshua.

However an undisputed heavyweight championship battle with Usyk looks more likely to happen in 2023, while talks with Joshua collapsed.

Morecambe featherweight Isaac Lowe, who trains with Fury at his gym at Morecambe Football Club, has also confirmed he will fight on the December 3 card.

Daniel Dubois will defend his WBA (Regular) Heavyweight Title against Kevin Lerena on the same bill.

UPDATE: Quotes from today's press conference:

Tyson Fury: "I don't have to sell Dereck Chisora to the fans. Don't forget you've got the so-called guys in the division, the top guys, we offer them big fights, they don't want no smoke. You offer (a fight) to Dereck Chisora and boom! He's sat here opposite me. Man's got balls.

"He's changed his name from Del Boy to 'War'. He goes to war. We're going to get a war.

"I did outbox him comfortably the second time. But Chisora's style has changed. And guess what? So has mine. I used to be a tip-tap boxer on the back foot, and now I'm a HMS Destroyer. When you've got heavy forces colliding with massive bombs, someone's getting knocked out.

"I will not underestimate Dereck Chisora."

Dereck Chisora: "I'm buzzing. It's a great fight. I can't really say much because they've put a gag on me in the contract, so I'll leave it.

"Tyson has always said there will be a third fight and here is it now. I thank Tyson for giving me an opportunity to fight him.

"I can't box him. I have to physically take what's his and make it mine.

"I have to knock him out. I'm going to knock him out. 100 per cent."
